Since 2010, Graeme Woods has been helping clients thrive and prosper as an investment advisor representative and Founder of G.S. Woods Wealth Management. Graeme is motivated by the desire to be of service to others, a mission he has been on since childhood. The singular goal of his financial practice is to help families start, grow, and preserve their wealth so that their future can be stable and secure allowing them to live their best lives.
Living a life of service began early for Graeme. For many years he was active in scouting where he became a Life Scout and Junior Assistant Scout Master. He went on to earn a BBA in Finance and International Business Administration from the Temple University Fox School of Business, and an MBA in Global Business from Arcadia University. He continued to be of service to others as a U.S. Army Civil Affairs Sargent, linguist, and parachutist. From 2003 to 2004 he served in Bosnia where he supported the mission by helping local farmers develop strategies to better compete in international markets.
As a wealth advisor, Graeme holds the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) Designations from the American College of Financial Services. He holds a license for Life Insurance, Annuities, Health, Property, and Casualty insurance. He passed Series 65 for investment adviser representatives, and the series 79 and 63 for registered investment banking representatives. Graeme has passed the level I CFA exam and is currently a candidate for the Level II CFA exam.
Graeme and his wife Julie have two young daughters and live in the Lancaster, PA area where Julie is a physician at Wellspan Ephrata Cancer Center. Their daughters are successful young businesswomen, their oldest heads the “play and fun” division, and their youngest is in charge of eating, sleeping, and early morning hijinks at “Woods Incorporated”.
As a family, they enjoy glamping, hiking, and bike riding. Julie is an avid "I Love Lucy" fan and loves baking and spending time reading to their daughters. Graeme likes to tinker in his workshop, plays golf, and loves to swim. He is also a ham radio operator. Since moving to the Lancaster area, they are exploring ways to become more involved in the success of their local community. Graeme is currently a Board Member and volunteer on the financial advisory committee for the Bloomsburg Theater Ensemble, and President of the Board of the Danville Child Development Center. He is also past president of the Danville Centennial Lions. As a service to his profession, he sits on the board of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
